Nine Dot previously worked with Willowbridge Community Servies on their rebranding. We were well prepared to design, write content for, and develop a new website to enhance the brand.
The new WordPress website would need to include their current offerings while introducing new services and resources not previously included. It would also be developed with a few best-practice approaches not previously included such as:
In our learning stage, it was clear that the information hierarchy of the website was critical to the user experience.
Nine Dot content creators worked with Willowbridge to determine their most critical information and what services people require most often, which influenced the structure of the menu and the content on pages.
The collective team was also mindful of Ontario’s AODA Legislature for January 2021 in mind, bringing it up to WCAG 2.0 Level AA Standards, so Willowbridge would be eligible for government funding and grants.
The most noticeable difference in the new website is the mega menu structure.
This type of menu involved a deep-dive into the user experience, deciding how to place the information in order of hierarchy and need.
By understanding their key services and their audience, we designed and developed
in a way that makes it easy for the end-user to find information or contact Willowbridge, and easy for the organization to reach their goals. With custom programming and designs that follow the brand guide, we were able to bring this to life.
We also ensured the new website development in WordPress would be easy to update and navigate in for the client should they want to update the vast amount of information and content.
